Accommodations
Exterior designs vary from cedar-walled cabins (such as Harmony House) and octagonal chalets (such as Trahlyta Lodge) to duplex lodges (such as Serendipity Lodge), to Cedarview Lodge, which is a multi-unit mountain lodge.
Transportation
Shuttle service leaves from Atlanta Hartsfield Airport at 11:00 AM on Friday. The round trip charge is approx. $60 depending on how many people are riding the shuttle. It is advisable that you book a flight for arrival no later than 10:00 AM. The shuttle will leave the Center for the return trip to the airport at 4:30 PM on Sunday night so returning flights should leave after 7:30 PM or the following day. There are several hotels at the airport so you can always stay the night and fly out the next morning. If your travel plans are any different then just stated, it is advisable to rent a car and drive to the Center, allowing enough time to arrive no later than 1:00 PM on Friday. The Center is approx. 2 hours north of the Atlanta airport.
Meals
At the Center For New Beginnings, you won't need to worry about anything. They offer their guests three delicious, healthy meals a day. The dining hall has plenty of seating room for the entire group. Located next to Farrow Hall, the dining room provides a cozy atmosphere with a beautiful view and even a fireplace for cold winter days. All meals are included in the price. If you have any special dietary needs, the Center is able and very willing to accommodate your needs. Just call Ann Gilburth at 706-864-5861 in advance.
